Career Coaching

At Emory, Career Coaches are more than just advisors—they’re expert partners in helping you discover your strengths, clarify your goals, and take meaningful action. Each coach specializes in one of our eight Career Communities, giving you access to industry-aligned insights and personalized support tailored to your interests.

Students meet with coaches to talk about:

  • Exploring career interests
  • Building resumes and cover letters
  • Internship or job search strategies
  • Interview preparation
  • Graduate school options and timelines
  • Networking tips and resources

These 30-minute collaborative appointments are personalized, focused, and built around your goals. Your career coach will:

  • Ask questions to help you identify your strengths and explore your interests
  • Break big tasks into smaller steps
  • Share tools, resources, and insider knowledge
  • Help you build the skills and confidence to pursue what’s next
