About the Opportunity
The Operations / Supply Chain Analyst is responsible creating and analyzing comprehensive distribution data with heavy concentration on inbound freight movements.
Eligible Locations
This role is set in a Hybrid work environment, meaning employees will work partly remote and partly in-office, with in-office time required for training. The primary reporting in-office location for this role is located in Boston Seaport District branch, Boston MA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect and examine all pertinent distribution data as assigned
- Work directly with internal operations departments (purchasing, warehouse, finance, customers service) in identify and resolving issues with quality of product being delivered to warehouse or customers
- Act as company resource to impart new distribution information, processes and functions pertaining to internal departments as needed
- Identify trends in related instances, at the hub, branch, route, customer and item level
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to “think on your feet” in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
- Must be detail oriented and have ability to manage multiple priorities successfully
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel is a must
- Willingness to spend time in a warehouse environment
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain, logistics or related field required
- Must have an expected graduation date of May 2025 or be a recent alumni
- Must possess a strong grasp of business math and exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
