Job Summary

Welcome to W. FW Management, where we go beyond conventional political consulting. Rooted in Texas, our team embraces Christian conservative principles, infusing them into every facet of our work. This is a full-time (Monday-Friday 9-5), in-person position at our office in Fort Worth, Texas.

Looking to get your foot in the door with an entry-level position in politics that gives you a taste of all sectors of the political process? This position may be for you.

The ideal candidate for this position will have an eye for crafting narratives, be willing to learn on the fly, and always be ready to lend a hand to help ensure all of our clients’ needs are being exceeded.

Responsibilities

  • Create and proofread written content pieces for clients in the form of website blogs, newsletters, press releases, social media copy, website copy, political advertisements, script copy, and more.
  • Overseeing various projects for clients.
  • Knowledge about political advertisements and the laws associated with them.
  • Creating and proofreading political advertisements.
  • Assist clients with events, including setup, teardown, and interaction with key donors and activists.
  • Assist clients in assembling and sending newsletters on platforms such as MailChimp and Mailer Lite.
  • Assist clients with keeping websites up to date (simple WordPress blog and event updates).
  • Knowledge of Texas government from the state level down to the local level, and Texas elections.
  • Legislative bill analyses.
  • Research projects for internal and client use.

Qualifications

  • WordPress or similar platform basic understanding
  • Strong writing capabilities
  • Basic understanding of email platforms such as MailChimp or Mailer Lite
  • Basic knowledge of Texas politics
  • Knowledge of SEO tools
  • Proficiency in basic AI tools
