The Career Closet was created to provide Emory students the ability to borrow clothing for career fairs, interviews, or other professional and social events. The closet was made possible due to local community donations and generous seed funding provided by the College Council.
Career and Professional Development will be transitioning from it’s temporary location in the Woodruff Library back to the newly renovated Pathways Center in the B. Jones Center beginning November 24. During this time, the Career Closet will be temporarily unavailable after November 19, 2025 and remain offline until Spring 2026.
Contact CPD@EMORY.EDU to SCHEDULE A RETURN between November 20 – December 16, 2025
Need professional attire for an upcoming interview, career fair, or networking event? The Career Closet at the Pathways Center provides Emory students with access to professional clothing so you can show up feeling confident and prepared.
How It Works:
- The Career Closet is available to currently enrolled undergraduate Emory students.
- Students are required to complete a check-in and check-out form when borrowing items.
- All items must be returned in clean and wearable condition by the agreed-upon return date.
- Walk-ins are welcome during open hours.
We gladly accept donations of clean, gently worn professional clothing and accessories, including:
- Suits, blazers, dress shirts, slacks, skirts, and dresses
- Professional shoes, belts, ties, and scarves
All donated items should be workplace-appropriate and in good condition. Donations can be dropped off at the Pathways Center during business hours.
Your contributions help students make a strong first impression!

- Does this choice reflect how I want to be seen at work?
