Tricia Herold
Senior Manager of Recruiting Operations

Tricia has been with The Career Center since 2000. She works with employers and alumni to promote opportunities and organize career fairs, networking events, interviews, resume reviews, and workshops. She enjoys collaborating with employers to customize innovative, informative, and engaging recruitment strategies that reflect their companies, brands, and cultures and drive student interest. She is the department expert on Handshake and is continually working on developing creative ways to support and improve virtual engagement for both students and employers. Her tenure with The Career Center allows her to follow the diverse career paths of Emory’s alumni and enjoys reconnecting with former students as they engage with the office on the other side of the table.
Tricia attended The University of Georgia and has a culinary degree from Kendall College in Chicago. Before joining higher education, she was a pastry chef.
Maureen May
Director of Recruitment & Employer Relations

Maureen serves as Director of Recruitment & Employer Relations and although she is new to the Emory Career Center team, she is not new to the world of university recruiting & employer engagement having worked at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt) and most recently Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) where she served in 2 different campus career centers. Maureen has enjoyed a comprehensive 30+ year rewarding career counseling a wide variety of students from diverse majors as well as assisting employers from every industry imaginable to strategically connect to bright young eager talent across the board.
Maureen’s vast experience includes industry knowledge and engagements that include entertainment, banking & finance, consulting, technology, health care, engineering, retail, creative, cultural, and professional sports, and the list goes on & on.
She earned a Master’s degree in Student Affairs from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from St. Vincent College and considers working in student affairs & university life a career calling that continues to be as fulfilling now as it was when she started.
Hearing the words “I have a job offer!” from an excited student has never lost its ability to be the gift of working in this field and our goal is to hear these words from every Emory student seeking our assistance!
