Information for On-Campus Departments
(seeking undergraduate student hires)

Career and Professional Development (CPD), along with the Office of Financial Aid, is here to support faculty and staff in promoting employment opportunities that offer Emory’s undergraduate students financial assistance and professional and personal development.

Student employment provides job skills and knowledge that can help students transition into their professional roles post-graduation. Mutually, the college benefits and grows with the vast talents, insight, and enthusiasm students bring to these roles.

This partnership aims to enhance student employment awareness among departments and students, build a centralized system for student employment opportunities through our online job board with Handshake, and increase the number and variety of on-campus employment opportunities.

Please note: CPD is not a campus-wide student employment office. We are here to promote campus positions for undergraduate students our office serves in the College of Arts & Sciences, Goizueta Business School, and Oxford College through our Handshake resource.

Departments can also connect with the following schools who utilize Handshake for their students. While CPD is here to assist you in setting up your account and troubleshooting Handshake issues, we ask you to reach out to their departments directly if you would like more specialized assistance in connecting with, and hiring, their student population:
School of Nursing (Undergraduate and Graduate)
Candler School of Theology
Laney Graduate School
