Student Outcomes
Recent graduates are launching careers or taking the next step toward professional degrees.
Administered annually by Career and Professional Development (CPD) in the Pathways Center, the survey follows reporting standards set by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).
Emory adheres to NACE’s definition of knowledge rate, which refers to the percentage of graduates for whom the institution has reasonable and verifiable post-graduation data. Emory’s data is also aggregated with nationwide reports through NACE, contributing to a broader understanding of career outcomes for college graduates.
FDS data includes employment status, salary details, and graduate school enrollment, serving as the only centralized employment data collection for Emory. This information is used by students, employers, departments, and other stakeholders to understand post-graduation career trends.
The Goizueta BBA Employment Report is collected through the BBA Career Managment Center (CMC).
UNDERGRADUATE FIRST DESTINATION OUTCOMES
The First Destination Survey (FDS) provides insight into the employment and continuing education outcomes of Emory College of Arts & Sciences graduates within six months of graduation. The survey is conducted for bachelor’s degree recipients who graduate in December, April, or August. Data collection continues for up to six months post-graduation to ensure a comprehensive overview of graduates’ career paths.
