It’s important to be active in your job search and to be aware of hiring timelines for your industry.

To help, Career and Professional Development provides students a variety of opportunities to find employment including:

  • Job Boards (i.e., Handshake, CareerShift, or other targeted sites)
  • Hiring Events (i.e., Career Fairs, Professional Conferences & Meetups)
  • Interview Prep (i.e. On Campus, Off Campus, and Virtual)
  • Networking with Alumni and Other Networks

Our team will also help students refine their strategy for finding the right roles because it’s easier to begin a search when you have a target in mind (example: Marketing position in Charlotte, NC).

If you need help developing a strategy, reflecting on what you want, or articulating what you have to offer, please schedule an appointment with your career coach or view the resources below.

If you'd like to explore beyond this focus, you can use the broader Labor Market Insight tool here.
