Career Communities bring together industries and career paths to help students explore opportunities that match their strengths and interests. When you engage with a Career Community, you receive timely, curated information to help you explore and grow in your chosen field.
Career and Professional Development (CPD) has eight Career Communities focusing on specific interests and industry sectors rather than academic majors. If you’re still figuring out which direction to take, the Exploring Community is a great starting point.
Each Career Community is supported by a dedicated CPD Community Career Coach who curates community-based resources such as:
- highlighted jobs and internships
- tailored resume and writing samples
- a calendar of targeted events and career fairs
- a collection of resources, tools, and guides from exploring careers, networking, researching employers, searching for internships and jobs, and more
We encourage you to explore and follow any career communities that align with your interests, goals, and career plans. The best approach is to explore broadly by browsing several career communities that interest you.
