Program Requirements
Participants must be sophomores, juniors, or seniors currently enrolled on the Atlanta or Oxford campus.

Before your spot is confirmed, you’ll need to complete a brief set of career preparation activities designed to help you feel confident, prepared, and ready to make meaningful connections during the visit.
Program FAQs
No — all majors are encouraged to apply. We’re more interested in your interest in exploring the industry and your willingness to engage.
Yes! Students can apply to participate in any of the upcoming site visits. Applications for each site visit will be evaluated separately, and student selections for each site visit will be made independently.
That just means final details are being confirmed. CPD and the Emory Alumni Association are still finalizing logistics, and updates will be posted as soon as they’re available.
Participants are chosen through a brief application that includes a resume and a short written response. Selection is based on interest, effort, and space availability.
Yes. Site visits are a professional commitment. If an emergency prevents you from attending, you must notify CPD immediately so your spot can be offered to another student.
Pre-work is a short set of assignments designed to help you prepare for your site visit and make the most of the experience. Once you’re accepted, CPD will send you detailed instructions, deadlines, and links to tools.
Students who don’t finish all required pre-work by the deadline may have their spot offered to a waitlisted participant.
Site visits could last between 90 minutes to 3 hours at the employer site, but students should expect a site visit to take at least half a day with shuttle transportation to and from campus.
No — transportation is coordinated and provided by CPD. Details will be shared before the visit.
Students are recommended to wear professional attire and bring a padfolio or notebook with them, along with their government-issued ID (for security check in).
Students may request a letter for their professor(s) requesting that their participation in a site visit be counted as an excused absence. However, students will be responsible for making up any work missed while on the site visit.
